Chocolate avocado mousse (no one will guess)

A silky dessert that's secretly plant-based. The avocado disappears into pure chocolate silk.

Method

    Melt the dark chocolate over a double boiler or in short bursts in the microwave. Let it cool slightly.

    Scoop the avocado flesh into a food processor with cocoa, maple syrup, vanilla and almond milk.

    Blend until completely smooth โ€” scrape down the sides once or twice.

    Add the melted chocolate and blend again until glossy and thick.

  5. 5

    Spoon into small ramekins, chill for at least 2 hours, and top with fresh raspberries.
