What makes a Hass special.

  • The classic Kiwi avocado — buttery, rich, and packed with heart-healthy monounsaturated fats
  • Skin turns from green to purple-black as it ripens — the easiest variety to read
  • High oil content: creamy, indulgent flesh perfect for guacamole and smoothies
  • Around 250 kcal per fruit, 20% of your daily fibre
Ripen it right

From bench to spoon.

Sits at room temperature 2–4 days. Speeds up in a paper bag with a banana. Chill once it yields to gentle pressure to hold for 2 more days.

  1. Day 1–2
    Fruit arrives firm. Leave on the bench, out of direct sun.
  2. Day 3–4
    Gentle press near the stem should yield slightly. Almost there.
  3. Ripe
    Skin gives to soft pressure. Eat now, or chill for 2 more days.
